About Imagical Marianne

I grew up on a peninsula in Maine, surrounded by the ocean, nature, and a close-knit community where creativity and resourcefulness were part of everyday life. Born in the early ’70s, I watched technology evolve, yet I always found inspiration in both the simplicity of the past and the possibilities of the future. From rotary phones and party lines to the digital world we live in today, I’ve embraced both tradition and innovation—just like my art.

Creativity runs deep in my family. My grandfather, a musician, artist, and teacher, was the first to show me how to truly see the world—how to break it down into shapes, perspectives, and emotions that could be translated into art. His grandfather before him was an artist as well, carving a canvas from a single piece of wood before painting my great-great-grandmother’s portrait on it—a keepsake I treasure. I was lucky enough to use those same hand tools to create my first sculptures, carrying on a tradition that has shaped me as an artist.

That deep connection to art, storytelling, and the natural world is at the heart of Imagical Marianne Designs. My work blends traditional artistic techniques, photography, and modern digital tools, allowing me to create a space where creativity feels limitless. Some of my designs are entirely handcrafted, others are infused with the magic of AI, but all are created with heart, imagination, and a love for artistic exploration.
